Made by hand from clay, these large earthenware vessels are formed to resemble the beloved face of the artist’s grandmother, Wilhelmina, and their name “mientje” is the Dutch diminutive for the more formal name. Stunning in shape and form, these vases are all one-of-a kind. The generous opening at top allows even those with minimal talent in floral design to add branches and stems to form the most glorious arrangements. Each vase can also be French wired as a lamp. Each piece is a work of art.
